Welcome to the beginning of the 2023 school year!

As the Principal of Hester Hornbrook Academy I am excited to begin our learning journey together for the 2023 school year. We have been busy over the break getting ready for the return of our students - we really do miss them when they are not at school with us.

We have an exciting year ahead! Hester Hornbrook is in a significant phase of growth again! We have many new staff coming on board for the opening of our new South Melbourne Campus.Planning is also underway to begin building of our Werribee campus, stay tuned for where we will go next.

I am excited in this letter to reveal our new Hester Hornbrook branding and logo.Thanks to our students and staff who were part of this process of rebranding.Watch out for great things to come this year at Hester Hornbrook.

Please be sure to take the time to meet the staff on the campus where your student attends and to read the Student Handbook which we have developed. This will provide you with lots of valuable information about our Senior Secondary Program and wellbeing supports for students.

It is our intention to always make your feel comfortable and welcome at our campuses, so please don't hesitate to make an appointment to see the Head of Campus or one of our staff, including myself, if you need anything at all.

Most importantly - our first day of classes is on Monday 6^th February, the week before this our Welcome Back Meetings will occur.Please make sure that your young person has their appointment for this important school year planning meeting booked.
