Students from Hester Hornbrook share their experience of education

The Bridges to Learning community sector education forum 2025 led by VCOSS and the Department of Education opened with a vox pop video of our incredibly capable and resilient Hester students who shared their experiences of school.

Leaders in education came together to talk about how to better support children and young people’s engagement in education.

We heard from Minister for Education, Ben Carroll who reaffirmed his belief in the power of education to transform lives, and his commitment to ensuring there is a pathway for every single student.
