Essential Criteria

Young people looking to enrol at Hester Hornbrook must meet all of these criteria to be suitable for enrolment.

• 15 to 25 years of age                                                                                                                     
• Social/emotional, cognitive, sensory disability
  • Diagnosed – medical evidence
  • Imputed – determined throughout the enrolment process

• Disengaged or at risk of disengagement from previous or current school setting:
  • Less than 5 days of attendance over the last 10 weeks
  • Detached from education. Not currently enrolled at a school or education training facility
  • Extremely little or no academic progress
  • At risk of disengagement due to social or emotional barriers
